Supervisor
I qualified as a supervisor in June 2026 through Relight Creatively and work as a supervisor with Off The Record, supporting practitioners in their professional development and reflective practice. I offer a supportive, open and non-judgemental space where you can reflect on your practice, build confidence and continue to develop in your role.
I offer supervision to trainee counsellors , qualified counsellors and practitioners working across a range of helping professions.
Whether you are at the beginning of your professional journey or have more experience, supervision can provide valuable space to pause, reflect and feel supported in the work you do.
FAQS
What is supervision?
Supervision offers trainee and qualified counsellors, as well as practitioners across a range of helping professions, an opportunity to step back from their work and reflect on their experiences, thoughts and feelings. It provides a supportive space to explore challenges, consider ethical questions, work through complex situations and develop confidence and professional skills.
How can supervision support you as a counsellor?
Supervision offers a confidential, supportive space for trainee and qualified counsellors and practitioners to reflect on their work, explore challenges and develop their professional practice.
Sessions may include:
- Reflective Practice: Exploring experiences, feelings and responses.
- Professional Challenges: Discussing complex situations, boundaries and ethical dilemmas.
- Emotional Wellbeing: Recognising the impact of your work and maintaining balance.
- Confidence and Development: Strengthening skills, self-awareness and professional identity.
- Relationships and Communication: Reflecting on professional relationships and interpersonal challenges.
- Future Goals: Identifying learning needs and supporting ongoing development.
Supervision is guided by your needs, offering time to pause, reflect and gain fresh perspectives in a supportive, non-judgemental environment. You don't need to have all the answers or prepare a specific issue; simply bring whatever feels important to you.

Mentoring
I have several years of experience in mentoring, supporting people with their personal development, confidence and wellbeing.
My experience includes working as a high school mentor, supporting an individual living with schizophrenia through the Creative Minds project in Brent and Harrow, and mentoring pupils in schools through Greenhouse Mentoring.
I have also worked as a Senior Mentor for The Challenge (National Citizen Service) and taken part in the BACP Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) Mentoring Programme.
If you feel mentoring might be helpful, you are welcome to get in touch. Whether you are a young person or an adult, we can have a conversation about what you are looking for and explore how mentoring might support you to find a way forward that feels right for you.
FAQS
What is mentoring?
Mentoring offers a space to focus on yourself, explore what matters to you and consider what you would like to work towards. It can support you with building confidence, recognising your strengths, navigating change and developing a clearer sense of direction.
I offer mentoring to young people and adults, adapting my approach to each person's individual needs and circumstances. You might be looking for support with confidence, personal development, everyday challenges or thinking about your next steps.
There is no expectation to have everything figured out. Mentoring is an opportunity to talk things through, explore your options and find a way forward that feels right for you.
How is mentoring different from therapy?
Mentoring and therapy can both offer support with personal growth and wellbeing, but they have different focuses:
Mentoring tends to focus on your strengths, goals and the changes you would like to make. It can help you build confidence, explore possibilities and think about practical steps towards moving forward.
Therapy offers space to explore your thoughts, feelings and experiences in more depth, helping you develop a greater understanding of yourself and work through emotional difficulties.
There can be some overlap between the two, but mentoring is not a replacement for therapy. The type of support that feels right for you will depend on your individual needs and what you would like help with.
